We don't have an indoor riding arena on the farm so we have to come up with creative ways to keep the horses (and riders) progressing mentally and physically. Plenty of people don't agree with me, but I haven't yet found a horse that disagrees :-) My methods and philosophies sometimes seem to fly in the face of traditional riding convention, but they are always formed with the good of the horse foremost in mind. Results confirm the principles which work. Goodness knows there is room for disagreement. Therein lies the fun of debate-- and the possibility of coming up with new ideas out of the conversation!
